Or while in India, do as some Indians do, I suppose. We went out to Mocha the other night for some panini and coffee, but then decided to try the hookah out! The hookah was gaining popularity in Metro Detroit before we left, and we were always a bit curious. My Grandma even has one in her china cabinet that my Dad brought back from Turkey. So we decided to try it out with our friends. We ordered two--one with apple juice and apple leaves, and the other with Red Bull and mint leaves. I am no hookah expert, but from what I understand the bottom chamber is used to fill with liquid and the top with leaves. Then charcoals are placed on top to create the conduction and convection effect thus producing the smoke that flows from the hose. The apple was decidedly everyone's favorite. See Paul enjoying the apple hookah below.

Everyone that is planning on visiting (you know who you are), will be expected to partake in this fun activity we found in Pune. It is much the same as cigar smoking, but instead it can taste like apple juice!

Paul, Where is your hair?? Did it go up with the smoke? Maybe a smoke screen?
