We arrived back in Pune from Lonavala last night. As tradition, Paul and I like to get up between 7 am and 8 am and walk to the German Bakery for breakfast. As we were walking this morning we noticed that the Mula-Mutha River has grown from the dried up creek bed I photographed a few months ago into an actual river. You'll notice how much water fills the basin below.

It is really moving here . . . And you cannot see any of the rock or debris in the bed as usual.

Here is another shot to illustrate its fullness . . .

As we continue on the bridge from Kalyani Nagar to Koreagaon Park we notice the laundry being washed in the river. Here it is hanging up to dry.

The woman works hard in the early morning sun to wash the uniforms and table linens.
