But, later that evening, my friends gave me a huge surprise. Paul had just arrived home from he office (early, which I thought odd) to take me out for my birthday sushi dinner. Hot and sweaty from walking the dog and running around all day, I was in desperate need of a shower when the doorbell rang. I just assumed it was the driver coming to ask me a question while I was cleaning my salad greens for the week. Instead, it was Ann-Sofie, Kris, Joris, Bec, Matt and Sophie-the-Dog coming to wish me a surprise happy birthday! What a surprise! Even Paul was in on the surprise . . . he actually bought a cake and they brought the bubbly! Pune is great when you have good friends!

Sophie was parched from chasing Lily. She prefers plant water over the bottled apparently!
